For the most part, Pam Tanowitz exhibits a strong sense of dance architecture. She constructs congenial dances with choreographic intelligence. Modern dance and ballet steps are stirred into stylish sequences with daring athletic punctuation marks.
At the Joyce Soho July 19 –21, Pam Tanowitz Dance presented ‘Forevermore" which consisted of four dances "The Shades," "Trio" a new solo and excerpt from "LoveStoryless" to a packed audience.
The collection of eye-catching dances was performed to an equally ear-catching sound score by Dan Siegler.
The company featured a fine group of dancers including Posy Knight, Anne Lentz, Daniel Madoff, Uta Takemura and Melissa Toogood.(love that name!)
